Role purpose:

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the project's technical delivery, ensuring zero harm, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

You will demonstrate knowledge, expertise, and a creative attitude to ensure Freyssinet provides clients with high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective remedial engineering solutions.

In this role, you will enjoy using your creative mindset and engineering skills to provide innovative solutions, coupled with the opportunity to be hands-on operationally and be satisfied with seeing the finished product.

This role is based in Sydney but will require travel to parts of Australia for varying lengths.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Prepare and manage the following documentation:

- Project QA and safety documents

- Site safety inspection

- MS Project (identification of critical path, float, and allocation of resources)

- Program and job forecast

- Accruals, committed costs, and Cost to Complete

-Operation productivity ratio

• Management of safety performance, standards, and risk
  Complete weekly safety inspections, prestart, process implications check, and HAZOB
• Monthly cost analysis of project performances, including program, cost to complete, project forecast, committed costs, accruals, productivity ratio, variations, and notice of delays
• Assist supervisor(s) with weekly programming but also material and equipment
• Work on a day-to-day basis with site supervisors to manage the project, solve problems and manage operational risks

Skills and Experience:

• 2 + years of experience as a Site Engineer
• Sound understanding of the local construction industry
• Experience with the remediation of bridges, commercial or residential high-rise buildings, or other assets
• Strong commercial acumen, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
