Ensure Sale and Purchase Ledgers are complete, Reports are compiled and reviewed, and new period is open, each month.
Support with the Production of reports, such as Work in Progress, Productive Hours, Resource and Utilisation, Actual and Budget project costing.
Project Management- actuals and forecasting completion.
Develop new processes in line with CODEX and Group requirements.
Assist on VAT compliance and reporting.
Treasury cashflow reporting and banking support.
Support on Accruals and Prepayments calculation, maintenance and posting.
Assisting with the completion of month end tasks and per the month end timetable
Liaising both internally and externally on production of P11Ds, R&D Tax Credit returns.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including running monthly depreciation program, impairment reviews, physical existence checking, accounting for disposals and acquisitions.
Support on the production of finalised monthly TB, Profit-Loss statement and Balance sheet.
Support on year end accounting and production of Statutory Accounts.
Assist with planning and running with External and Internal Auditors.
Payroll preparation and checking.
Developing and maintaining process documentation, ensuring this is reviewed for compliance frequently.
Support testing, migration, training, process documentation and testing for a new ERP system.
Assist with Balance sheet reconciliation preparation and completion to review stage.
Provide support to the Finance Partner and Business Unit General Manager, as required by the business, in line with business needs.

Experience, Knowledge and skills required:
AAT all levels completed (Ideal)
Working towards a Professional Accounting qualification (desirable)
Business, Economics or Finance related subjects at A-Level or equivalent qualification (desirable)
Experience of using ERP for Accounting, such as SAP/CODEX, Navision, AX Dynamics, JD Edwards (essential)
Experience of Payroll processing (desirable)
