Freyssinet Australia is seeking an industry-experienced Business Development Manager to join our WA Remedial team. 


The Business Development Manager is tasked with sourcing new business opportunities whilst expanding our existing base in the Pilbara,WA remedial market for Freyssinet Australia.

This position is responsible for developing innovative and efficient repair solutions for customers both at tender and project execution stages. The BD Engineer/Manager will work with the estimator and operations team during the bid preparation but also throughout the project set up.  A strong operational experience in the repair market is required for this position.

Profile

Key accountabilities for this position will include

  • Tender, bid and proposal planning, preparation and delivery.
  • Clear and proper documented tenders with work method statement, program and clarifications.
  • Growing recurring revenue.
  • Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Ensuring effective engagement and handover of projects to the operation teams.
  • Provide technical support to the operation team by developing solutions/methods and assisting their implementation on site.

Qualifications and experience required for this position will include

  • Completed Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
  • Minimum 4 years in a Project Management / Business Development role in the repair market.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in budget control & forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • You will be based in regional WA - Pilbara, having contacts already in this area will be highly beneficial
