BIM COORDINATOR required by our Client, within the Renewables industry, located in Boston, MA.
POSITION SCOPE
Renewables is seeking a highly motivated and experienced BIM Coordinator professional to join our growing offshore wind team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our asset information management strategy.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Champion BIM and Digital Asset Management: Establish and maintain clear procedures and documentation for internal and external partners to ensure best practices in creating, managing, and utilizing asset data throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Lead Offshore Wind BIM Adoption: Drive the implementation of asset management information systems and data analysis across the offshore wind business unit, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making.
- Technical Expertise: Perform quality control checks on design data and drawings, manage the asset tag list, and develop visualizations to communicate the value of BIM to stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Communication: Interface effectively with internal and external teams, including technical specialists, IT, and senior leadership, to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Long-Term Vision: Develop a comprehensive plan for reliable asset information storage, retrieval, and data integrity.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, construction)
- 10-15 years of experience in a related field.
- Proven experience with BIM technology, including interoperability and data exchange processes.
- Proficiency in using AutoDesk products or similar software.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to confidently work with senior leadership and diverse project teams.
