Responsible for the administration duties within the plant yard. To maintain supply databases, and KPI's. To validate supplier compliance using our SCAD database.

The role will include:

• Undertake a full range of administrative duties to ensure an efficient service is delivered to the Menard yard and procurement team
• Arrange and attending team meetings/conferences to take minutes
• Perform ad hoc confidential paperwork
• Maintain accurate and secure paper based/electronic filing systems
• Ensure compliance with business strategy and procedures
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of the business management system
• Provide support to the Yard Co-ordinator and Operations Co-ordinator/Buyer
• Assist in managing daily requests by other yard/procurement staff
• Work closely with the whole process team
• Provide support to the procurement team in obtaining quotes and placing order with external and internal suppliers
• Assist in keeping SCAD up to date
• Assist the Yard Co-ordinator with placing subcontract and material orders using the company invoicing/payment system and orders are accompanied by the business requirements
• Work with the Yard Co-ordinator to ensure the yard KPI's are kept up to date and that NCR's are managed
• Participate in the development of plant, equipment and processes, to ensure we are providing efficient and reliable equipment to our sites
• Provide support to the yard manager in developing the right behaviour with regards to safety and quality in the yard

Salary is circa £23-24k.

The successful candidate will need admin experience in a busy office environment, as well as great communication and team-working skills. In addition, good IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word. They will need to maintain confidentiality at all times and ensure everything work done is compliant with our business strategy and procedures.

They will be focused and thorough and have the gravitas and professional credibility to advise senior management when something needs immediate redress together with the tenacity and drive to ensure the necessary action is taken.

The individual needs to be capable of communicating ideas and concepts effectively to both their own team and external, particularly suppliers, subcontractors, operatives.
