HR Assistant
21/04/2026We are looking for a HR Assistant to support the HR department in providing a pro-active and a forward-thinking HR service to the Group Companies, including responsibility for specific tasks and projects within the Department. All tasks in compliance with required strict confidentiality of data & respect for GDPR legislation.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- HR Administration: Office administration duties including telephone contact & enquiry handling. Correspondence & Communications, changes to terms and conditions
- Occupational Health: Monitor expiries to ensure compliance, schedule and follow up on appointments
- Support HRIS Lead with any updates and administrative changes
- Support L&D Advisor with training and Early Careers coordination
- Recruitment: screening and tracking candidates, booking, and managing the interviews process, assisting managers to draft job descriptions.
- Manage starters and leavers, including onboarding system updates, accurate HR records, and coordination with Payroll and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with legislation on ensuring all employees have the right to work in the UK and helping obtain the necessary work permits/Visa's as required.
- Security Vetting: Assisting the project teams with vetting applications for employees and workers.
- Any other reasonable tasks and project work as required.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications required:
- Previous Administration and Data Entry experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish and maintain strong relationships across all levels.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills to help ensure the delivery of a fast-paced HR service.
- Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel.
- To be resilient with a positive and confident approach.
- HR Administration or Recruitment experience (Desirable)
