JOB DIMENSIONS
The Mechanical & Heat Tracing Commissioning Supervisor will oversee the commissioning of mechanical equipment, heat tracing systems, and associated heating systems required for pipeline operations.
ACTIVITIES
· Supervise mechanical commissioning activities
· Ensure readiness and performance of heat tracing systems
· Coordinate contractors and local workforce activities
· Support start-up and operational readiness
· Verify compliance with project standards and procedures
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES
· Mechanical completion verification
· Functional testing of rotating and static equipment
· Verification of heat tracing and heating systems
· Troubleshooting during commissioning and start-up
· Review commissioning documentation and punch lists
· Mentor local technicians and operators
HSE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure safe execution of commissioning activities
· Participate in risk assessments and permit-to-work processes
· Promote strong safety culture across teams
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering
· Minimum 10 years of commissioning experience
· Experience with industrial heating systems and heat tracing
· Previous Oil & Gas EPC project experience required
· Ability to supervise multicultural teams
