Senior Contracts Administrator
31/5/2026We are seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator on a fixed-term contract to support Seymour Whyte’s JV with Sydney Water on the Creek Connect project. In this role, you will be responsible for contract administration, maintaining compliance, and working closely with key stakeholders to help deliver this significant program successfully.
In this role, you will prepare and manage contract documentation, process variations and progress claims, and monitor compliance with contractual obligations. You’ll liaise closely with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve commercial issues, support procurement activities, and ensure accurate reporting and record keeping throughout the project lifecycle.

Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.

About the Role:
- Manage contracts and subcontracts end-to-end
- Support procurement and tendering activities
- Monitor costs and forecasts
- Administer variations and claims
- Manage commercial risks
- Liaise with contractors and stakeholders
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
- Extensive experience in contracts administration on major infrastructure projects
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Confident managing claims and variations
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, team-focused approach
Many of our projects are not accessible via public transport and require travel between and within active construction sites. As a result, a current Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive on site are essential.
