Senior Project Engineer

Be part of a large scale, long term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first stage of work beginning before the end of the year. The project also emphasizes safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.

About the role:
- Manage the activities of the team, assign workloads and provide technical and administrative guidance.
- Monitor and coordinate all phases of project progress including workforce, ensuring equipment, facilities and services meet specified requirements.
- Review the scope of work and allocate effective work breakdown for procurement packages.
- Develop procurement schedule.
- Contribute to timely and profitable project completion.
- Monitor subcontractor performance.
- Monitor quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material.
- Own productivity management of works under your direct control.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- A Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
- Demonstrated experience delivering civil Water or Wastewater Treatment Plants, Desalination Plants, Oil & Gas or Pipelines projects.
- Extensive background in Mechanical/Electrical process engineering roles on a contraction site capacity.
- Previously work on a pre-contract position is desirable but not essential.
