Seymour Whyte is delivering Coomera Connector Stage 1 South, a key infrastructure project improving transport links between Logan City and the Gold Coast. By building additional crossings over the Coomera and Nerang Rivers, this stage will ease congestion on the M1 and provide residents in growing areas such as Helensvale and Coomera with an alternative route.

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our project team. In this role, you will oversee on-site engineering and construction activities, working closely with project and construction teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements and quality standards.

About the role:

• Supervise on-site works and coordinate with subcontractors and other disciplines to support efficient project delivery
• Ensure compliance with network safeworking standards, specifications, method statements and ITPs
• Monitor construction progress, quality of work, and productivity, conducting inspections as required
• Oversee daily field operations, including team supervision, cost control, estimating and reporting
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and support safety, quality and environmental outcomes on site

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
• Proven construction experience
• Knowledge of safety legislation, Australian Standards and industry codes
• Strong planning, monitoring and reporting capabilities to support effective project delivery
• Commitment to quality, safety and environmental practices

Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
