DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

She/he will review/define, analyse and follow-up airport performance indicators as a key operational driver and will contribute to the promotion of business best practices across the network, and will act as a facilitator in their enhancement and best use.  To do this, she/he will be involved in the following areas: 

·       Implementation of operational and business performance measures within AERODOM airports. 

This project is organised around a new data governance, which aims to provide AERODOM Airports Operations Departments key indicators in the optimisation of asset management beyond operations monitoring. This requires the following activities:  

1.       Review existing indicators at airports and consolidate by subject and/or process the different phases of definition and implementation.

2.       Contribute to the development of activity management dashboards.

3.       Participate in the implementation of the essential indicators for performance monitoring in all airports.

4.       Be the OPS business interface with the Smart Data Hub team  

5.       Participate in the airport transition to a data driven environment

6.       Identify and understand opportunities to develop new analysis axis

·       Benchmarks and consolidation of best practice 

Carrying out benchmarks related to, and non-exhaustive: 

airport core processes related to passengers, aircrafts, and baggage
Airside and landside (Terminal) capacity
Third parties’ services (ground handling) 

·       Assistance in different operational and business activities  

Analysis of operational data (flows, capacity studies) 
Support in all Operations projects 
Support in the creation and follow-up of CAPEX projects
Reporting to share results and best practices amongst airports and support assets to fix their objectives for continuous improvement. 

REQUIERED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

·       Degree or expertise and studies in Engineering, Marketing, Economics, or similar focus.

·       Internships or first work position in the aviation industry in a field related to airport operations. 

·       Strong orientation to problem solving.  

·       Good social and cooperative conduct with strong ability to work in dynamic teams, as well as in multidisciplinary teams in collaboration with other departments/entities.

·       Open to change mind set.

·       Ability and willingness to understand foreign cultures and mentalities, experience with international teams

·       Proven experience with computer systems including MS Office, and strong skills to manipulate data strong in qualitative research and Power BI development 

·       Very good verbal and written communication skills in English. Confident in spoken and written Spanish is deemed advantageous.
