Contract Duration: 12–24 months (renewable)
Work Scheme: Rotational 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off

Mission Context
The Marine Superintendent will support offshore operations.
The role acts as the focal point for all marine-related activities, ensuring safe, compliant, and
efficient execution of offshore marine operations.
Key Responsibilities
– Perform pre-hire inspections of drilling rigs, PSVs, and AHTSs and follow up corrective actions
– Plan, coordinate and supervise all marine operations (rig moves, mooring, anchor handling)
– Review and validate procedures, studies, risk assessments (JRA), and marine documentation
– Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and local regulations
– Coordinate with contractors, internal teams, and marine warranty surveyors
– Monitor execution and ensure timely delivery of marine operations
– Provide reporting on operational progress and performance
– Support optimization and technical decision-making for marine activities
Specific Activities
– Validate crew certifications and contractor capabilities
– Review planning data and ensure reliability of inputs
– Participate in operational and interface meetings
– Coordinate marine logistics and resources
– Conduct inspections and audits of vessels and equipment
– Provide technical expertise on rig moves, mooring systems, and offshore operations
– Issue notices to mariners and ensure communication across stakeholders
HSE Responsibilities
– Enforce company HSE policies and offshore safety standards
– Promote safety culture onboard vessels
– Identify risks and ensure corrective actions implementation
– Conduct safety meetings and hazard identification activities
– Ensure compliance with international marine safety regulations
Required Qualifications & Experience
– Minimum 10 years’ experience in deep water operations
– Experience in shallow water operations (minimum 5 years)
– Proven expertise in rig moves and anchor handling
– Accredited OVID inspector
– Experience in vessel inspections and audits
– ROV operations experience
– Master Mariner or Chief Engineer unlimited license
– Bachelor’s degree in Nautical Studies or Marine Engineering
