ACTIVITIES
- Preparation of Instrumentation engineering deliverables including Specifications, Instrument Datasheets,
- Prepares the technical documentation for instrumentation and IoT devices and performs the technical evaluations
- Provide inputs and review of engineering drawings including Instrument Location Plans, Instrument Installation Details, Process Hook-Ups, Interconnection
- Responsible for finalizing BOM for procurement
- Review Instrumentation Vendors offers, prepare Vendor Technical Clarifications, and prepare Technical Bid Evaluation reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IoT solutions with business goals
- Prepare documentation for presentation, review, and approval of the IoT solution, Instrumentation design to project stakeholders (Site, Architecture, Infrastructure, IT Security etc..) and support throughout the approval process
- Perform Incoming material inspection and quality control to ensure the purchased materials meet all necessary quality metrics
- Configuration, Onboarding and Testing of IoT Devices
Support IoT Use case deployment activities - Develop Use case specific documentation for deployment, post deployment support and maintenance
- Support site teams for installation of IoT devices and networks equipment’s
- Monitoring performance of Instruments (IoT devices) using IoT applications.
- Responsible troubleshooting for IoT devices and for providing technical support to site teams.
- Responsible for coordinating with engineering teams and project stakeholders
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
At least 8+ years of experience in Instrumentation design specifically in the context of IoT
Experience in detailed engineering and design of Instrumentation for Oil & Gas projects (preferable)
Familiar with relevant international codes, standards, and recommended practices such as ISA, NEC, NFPA, IEC, etc.
Experience in designing, developing IoT use cases
Knowledge of regulations regarding the European ATEX/ SIL guidelines
Good understanding of communication protocols, such as MQTT, LoRaWAN
Sound organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, priority-changing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills and ability to write technical documents/ specifications
Fluent in French and English mode of communications
Experience in Project management
Working experience in Agile methodology
