Chief Operations and Technical Officer (COO/CTO) (F/M)- Via SumaPaz

Vía SumaPaz is responsible for the Bogotá-Girardot Third Lane Project, which involves the construction, land management, social and environmental aspects, and network relocation. The project includes the rehabilitation of the dual carriageway over an approximate length of 145 km, the expansion to a third lane from Chinauta tollgate to Sibaté on both carriageways, and the expansion to a third lane from Boquerón to Chinauta tollgate on the Girardot - Bogotá direction, left lane.
We are currently looking for a Chief Operations and Technical Officer (COO/CTO) (F/M) for Via SumaPaz.
The key responsibilities in this position will be :
- Lead the operations, routine maintenance and tolling department teams.
- Achieve the financial and contractual objectives for the operation and routine maintenance of the project, and act as the guarantor of the operation/routine maintenance budget.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency, productivity, and quality in project planning and execution.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
- Drive process optimization initiatives and best practices to enhance project performance and profitability.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with ANI (National Infrastructure Agency) and other entities involved in the project, as well as address the requirements of stakeholders related to their management.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align operational goals with the company's strategic objectives.
- Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and environmental sustainability across the department.
- Promote the VINCI culture and values.
The profile we are looking for :
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management or direction within the road concession project or infrastructure sector, demonstrating expertise in project delivery and operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on driving collaboration and innovation.
- Knowledge and understanding of the various routine maintenance contracts
- In-depth understanding of the financial and business issues during operation phases.
- In-depth understanding of the contractual aspects of agreements during operation phases.
- In-depth understanding of the QHSE and Sustainable Development issues.
- Ability to manage routine maintenance policy implementation.
- Ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset to overcome operational challenges.
- Fluent in English and Spanish is mandatory.
