Stageopdracht: HBO ICT Network Automation DevOps

Hoofddoelen

  • Inventarisatie van huidige processen
    • Breng in kaart hoe Meraki‑netwerken momenteel worden uitgerold en beheerd. Denkend aan config-stappen, validatie, licenties en planning.
  • Bouwen van een Terraform Proof of Concept
    • Ontwerp en implementeer een POC die een (klein netwerk) binnen een Meraki‑organisatie automatisch configureert.
    • Maak gebruik van Terraformbest practices en IaCprincipes.
    • Vergelijk de aanpak met de bestaande Ansible‑automatisering.
  • Implementatieadvies
    • Adviseer over het inzetten van Terraform in het Axians‑proces.

Wat wij van je vragen

  • Je volgt een HBO opleiding in de richting van HBO ICT of iets vergelijkbaars,
  • Je bent nieuwsgierig naar DevNet / DevOps / automatisering,
  • Je wilt graag met IaC wil werken (Terraform of vergelijkbare tools),
  • Basiskennis van netwerken (switchen) is een pre.

Axians Capelle a/d IJssel werkt aan innovatieve netwerk‑ en automatiseringsoplossingen voor diverse klanten. We beheren grote Meraki‑omgevingen en ontwikkelen steeds meer tooling om configuraties te standaardiseren en automatiseren. Binnen Capelle bestaat de coding community uit zo'n 40–50 collega’s die zich bezighouden met automatisering, scripting en DevOps‑methodieken.

Meraki wordt bij Axians veel gebruikt en is relatief eenvoudig te beheren. De echte uitdaging zit niet in de techniek zelf, maar in procesautomatisering, schaalbaarheid en integratie met IaCprincipes.
