Actemium EV - Electrical Site Supervisor

Actemium, part of Vinci Energies which is an international Electrical Services organization with a global turnover of €2.8 billion and based in over 40 countries. Actemium EV is a dedicated business unit with a sole focus on the EV Charging/ renewable market, with a high demand in activity in this sector we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Site Supervisor to join our expanding team.

Package: £ JIB rates + Benefit

The Role

  • Take the lead as a Supervisor of a team of skilled and competent persons

  • Work to strict deadline and be able to manage productivity on site

  • Work to detailed drawings and client-specific specification and needs

  • Manage change/ variations in works scope on a day to day basis

  • Health and safety aware

  • Knowledge of the current IET Wiring Regulations

  • Produce point of work risk assessments and site safety inspections

  • Experience of CDM site management

  • Complex Electrical Installations including large multicore SWA/ AWA cable, cable containment, electrical distribution equipment, comms & control systems, etc

  • Use of variety of electrical equipment for integration, to form part of a new/ modified electrical installations

  • Constructing support structures/ framework

  • ac & dc Electric Vehicle Charge Points

  • Single phase and three phase systems

  • Fault Diagnostics (Electrical)

  • Test & Inspection (Electrical


The Person

  • JIB Grade Approved Electrician (Minimum)

  • An ability to work with / manage sub-contractors

  • Trustworthy and responsible

  • Positive and proactive

  • City & Guilds 2356/2360 Electrical Installations

  • City & Guilds 18th Edition Regs

  • City & Guilds 2391-52 Instion & Testing (desirable)

  • City & Guilds 2919-01 Electric Vehicle Charge Point Installation (desirable)

  • Knowledge of Electric Vehicle industry or similar (Renewables)

  • Ability to communicate at all levels

  • SSSTS, IOSH Certificate or similar

  • Full/ Clean UK Driving License

  • First aid trained
