The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland motorway system.

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Geospatial Lead to play a pivotal role on a large‑scale road and structures maintenance contract, based in Auckland. You’ll also mentor and develop a small specialist team, fostering innovation, capability growth, and operational excellence.

With access to vast datasets and cutting‑edge tools such as ArcGIS Enterprise, FME Flow, Utility Network, and 3D modelling, you’ll have genuine scope to build smart, future‑focused solutions.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geospatial Science, GIS, Geography, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 7+ years’ experience in GIS, geospatial data management, or spatial analytics
  • Proven leadership experience mentoring teams and delivering geospatial projects
  • Strong expertise in geospatial data, analytics, and GIS system implementation
  • Hands‑on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and FME Flow
  • Ability to integrate GIS platforms with broader business systems
Programming skills (Python, SQL) for automation and analysis

Above all, you’ll be a passionate technical leader who values collaboration, ownership, and delivering exceptional outcomes—for customers and the wider community.

Warning to applicants about false job offers and fraudulent proposals

The VINCI group wishes to warn applicants about the online publication of false job offers for contracts abroad in the name of VINCI group companies. The authors of these offers fraudulently use the corporate names, brands and logos of VINCI group companies to deceive applicants, inducing them to reveal personal information and to pay money to obtain alleged services. Under no circumstances do VINCI group companies ask for candidates' bank details or any payment of money as part of their recruitment process. We therefore strongly recommend that applicants check the authenticity of job offers before responding to them.
