Pre-Commissioning Coordinator

PRE-COMMISSIONING COORDINATOR required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Operator, to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Ensenada, Mexico.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Shall have some competency on EasyPlant, Construction and Commissioning (multi[1]disciplines)
  • Supervise the pre-commissioning activities performed by Contractor through coordination with pre-commissioning inspectors
  • Ensure corresponding works are properly coordinated with Commissioning priorities and executed as per EPC contract, according to plan and Project HSE rules
  • Coordinate on daily basis with Construction Area Managers and pre-com/commissioning Team to ensure priorities are properly addressed and understood by stakeholders
  • Contribute to the review of CTR construction and pre-commissioning procedures related to pre-commissioning activities
  • Follow-up of Field/Site queries or modifications with Construction to anticipate and to minimize pre-commissioning punch list
  • Monitor and ensure that Systems are available on time for the commissioning activities to start.
  • Monitor pre-commissioning activities through EasyPlant and use it to identify day-to-day priorities (pre-comm + construction)
  • Be a permanent link between construction / pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Teams to smoothen turnover of the ECA LNG facilities, chair coordination meetings as required
  • Ensure that pre-commissioning Punch items are managed adequately and are closed as per required milestones
  • Ensure that dossiers are delivered as per Commissioning management (Contractor/Company)
  • Provide requested reports and feedback to Management.
  • Keep a constant view on HSE aspects for the on-going pre-commissioning activities and report as required
  • Review pre-commissioning dossiers with assistance of engineering, construction, quality and pre-commissioning stakeholders
  • Follow submission of these dossiers until final signature by all relevant parties, and help in coordination of related walk-downs
