MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
The service holder will ensure the management of Drilling Fluids, Cement, and management of drilling wastes onboard the Drilling Unit
The service holder shall show leadership and coordinate actions between the different parties involved, in order to ensure that drilling fluids, cement and waste management all contribute to optimize safely and efficiently drilling operations.
The service holder reports to the Drilling Fluids Superintendent.

ACTIVITIES

  • To promote safety culture within the project and its activities. Lead by exemplarity to have the team members and colleagues adhering and contributing.
  • To ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the managed activities or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on activities.
  • With the spirit of the client values, to establish and manage activities motivating counterparts and to work diligently to meet the targets of the Projects.
  • Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and promote the re-enforcement of the Anti-Corruption Program.
  • To Reviews fluids and cement program in order to prepare requests and mixing plans
  • To ensure Fluids, Cement, Waste Services programs and procedures are available, understood and applied on the rig by all Services Companies.
  • To coordinates actions to ensure best procedures are following. Writes procedures to optimize mixing and handling of products
  • To monitors daily drilling operations to reduce or eliminate problems associated with drilling fluids or cement operations
  • To interpret property-test data to establish required treatment or action to witness
  • To determines cause of fluid, hole, or system problems to assist in treatment recommendation
  • To advises on potential treatments or improvements to the fluid system based on data analysis and mud testing
  • To maintains optimum & efficient environmental discharge and consumption records
  • To control logistics and inventory management for drilling fluids, cement, waste management scope
  • To verify services Companies reporting before sending to the client EP Brazil office
  • Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and promote the re-enforcement of the Anti-Corruption Program.

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
The activity takes place in the context of the execution phase of a major project in Suriname. The Suriname GranMorgu is a multidisciplinary team that coordinates the project managed by the client on the Deep and Shallow Water discoveries of offshore Suriname Block 58.
The technical challenges the Project will face are the reservoir development and management, FPSO, and subsea production/injection system.
The Suriname Team will develop the Project with the objectives of maximizing economic results by optimizing the reserves, and the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Professional Experience (years): 15 years in Oil & Gas industry on Offshore
  • Experience in similar position (years): ±10 years in similar position
  • Level / Education: Petroleum Industry Graduate to BSc level (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Specialization: Chemistry (proven field experience)
  • Pragmatic approach,
  • excelling at finding sound solutions under stress
  • Ability to work on complex projects with numerous interfaces
