Construction Superintendent
Construction Superintendent (Building Works) required by our Client, an Oil and Gas EPC Contractor, to be assigned in Jakarta, Indonesia
DURATION Permanent, residential status
SCHEDULE Monday – Friday
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and lead all subcontractors for building works and architectural trades throughout duration of the project
- Liaise with the Construction Manager to ensure adequate labor and sub-contract resource is available on site
- Manage a team of supervisors and monitor the day to day activities of subcontractors to ensure key schedule milestones are met
- Ensure workmanship and material standards are achieved in accordance with specifications, health and safety legislation as well as quality standards.
- Attend all necessary site meetings
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity to enable traceability.
- Carrying out safety inspections and fulfilling the health and safety responsibilities as detailed in the Contractor’s corporate Policy
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- 15+ years of proven relevant experience in large building works project
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- Experienced in managing subcontractors
- Experience in South-East Asia preferred
