JOB DIMENSIONS
· Following a successful audit and the opening of commissioning activities to subcontracting our client is strengthening its commissioning team on the EACOP project.
· The Electrical Commissioning Supervisor will oversee commissioning activities performed by contractors and local teams, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of electrical systems commissioning.
ACTIVITIES
· Supervise electrical commissioning activities on site
· Monitor contractor performance and compliance with project procedures
· Review commissioning dossiers, test procedures, and technical documentation
· Support local teams and ensure proper knowledge transfer
· Manage interfaces with construction, commissioning, and operations teams
· Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and client standards
· Report commissioning progress and technical issues
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES
· Verification of electrical installations and systems readiness
· Witness FAT, SAT, loop checks, and functional testing
· Support energization activities
· Review punch lists and close-out actions
· Coordinate commissioning priorities with stakeholders
· Mentor less experienced local personnel
HSE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Enforce project HSE standards
· Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
· Report unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions implementation
· Promote a strong safety culture across all teams
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering
· Minimum 10 years of electrical commissioning experience in Oil & Gas or Energy projects
· Experience on large EPC projects preferred
· Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems and electrical protection
· Previous pipeline or industrial project experience is an advantage
· Fluent English required
· French language appreciated
· Ability to adapt to changes and to work in an international multi-cultural project environment, to cope in a positive and productive manner within intensive environment. Interpersonal skills, rigor, and analytical mind.
· Ability to work as a member of a project Team, to liaise, coordinate and positively communicate with the involved different Parties (Contractors, project Entities, auditors, other disciplines representatives, experts, project people, PMT EPCC packages, etc.).
