What can you expect as an Environmental Officer @Menard?
As the Environmental Officer for Menard Group, you will work with the Environmental Director for the Menard group based in Krakow, Poland, and contribute to all Menard team around the world.
You will play a pivotal role in developing a strategy for Menard to achieve VINCI objectives. The role involves coordinating projects, tracking environmental KPIs, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our global environmental goals.
Your key responsibilities include:
Development and Implementation of CO₂ Reduction Strategies:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to reduce the company's CO₂ emissions.
- Support the verification and assessment of innovative solutions aimed at reducing the carbon footprint.
Environmental Data Monitoring and Analysis:
- Improve tools and systems for monitoring environmental data to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Monitor and analyze environmental performance indicators to track progress toward sustainability goals.
Global Awareness and Engagement:
- Raise awareness of environmental challenges and solutions across the global Menard network.
- Organize campaigns and initiatives to build a culture of sustainability within the company.
Performance Reporting:
- Provide regular reports on environmental performance and the impact of implemented solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the group’s sustainability objectives.

- You are an engineering school graduate, with a degree in Engineering, Environmental Science
- You enjoy data analysis, you have knack for numbers and making them “talk”.
- You enjoy creative work and communication stakes, as you will be at the crossroads of many stakeholders: communicating, in a well put together way, is key!
- You’re looking for assignments that give you a sense of responsibility and high autonomy.
- You can define yourself through a methodical and analytical mind, and strong interpersonal skills such as open-mindedness, curiosity, and most of all, a tenacious can-do attitude!
- You’re looking forward to being part of a team where you’ll be keen to learn and face new challenges together.
- You show an international mindset which will allow you to enjoy what Poland can offer to the fullest.
- Most of your interlocutors will use English to communicate, so you should be able to speak, write and understand it.
Quick Reminder about the VIE program:
The VIE program requires you to:
- Be a European citizen aged between 18 and 28 on the date of registration, whatever training level.
- Be a graduate student, with a fluent level in English.
- Have never done any V.I.E. in the past.
- Not have worked previously in the host country.
