About OMA
In 2022, Vinci Airports acquires 29,99% of OMA’s capital. OMA, Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte, is composed of 13 airports in Mexico, among which Monterrey International Airport, Chihuahua, or Mazatlan.
The Role
Reporting to the Aviation Development Manager, the Aviation Development Analyst will work on a large array of key missions for OMA’s traffic and cargo development.
The missions
Business development
· Create business case for development of new destinations
· Perform market studies: Analyze markets, trends, changes in airline strategies to identify all route development opportunities
· Monitor evolutions affecting air travel locally and regionally
Data management & modelling
· Develop and improve models in Excel for budget and long term traffic forecasting
· Monitor traffic performances of 13 airports
· Develop dashboards on Power BI
Reporting
Prepare and deliver precise market analysis using various data sources available for passengers and cargo flows
· Perform traffic reporting for management and Vinci Airports headquarter
· Design and test new reporting methods and KPIs in partnership with external experts
Person Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Finance; a master’s degree (MA in Finance or Engineering)
· Proven experience with computer systems including MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
· Previous Power BI development would be a plus
· Ability to be resourceful in researching and analysing markets and issues
· English fluent
· One year relevant industry experience would be a plus:
o Airline experience in several of the following areas: route analysis, cargo, marketing, alliances, international or regulatory affairs and operations research; familiarity with airline economics
o Experience in airport planning and operations; some understanding of airport functionality and governing procedures; knowledgeable in multimodal transportation
· It would be a plus to have knowledgeable on industry information resources (OAG, IATA services…)

· Commercial but with excellent numerate, analytical and communication skills
· Collaborative, engaging and able to build long-term business relationships at all levels

This role is based in Mexico City, Mexico, at OMA’s Head Quarter.
