06/07/2026

About VINCI Airports
The world's leading private airport operator, VINCI Airports manages more than 70 airports in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Leveraging its expertise as a global integrator, VINCI Airports develops, finances, builds, and operates airports, bringing its investment capacity and expertise to optimize operational performance, modernize infrastructure, and drive their environmental transition. VINCI Airports was the first airport operator to commit to an international environmental strategy in 2016, with the goal of achieving net-zero emissions across its entire network by 2050.

Reporting to the Performance & Sizing Office, the internal consulting team of the VINCI Airports' Operations Department, you will join a young and dynamic team at the heart of our airports' transformation challenges.

Our mission is to support the airports in our global network in improving their operational and economic performance. In this role, you will work on high-value-added projects, in contact with local teams and headquarters departments.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on international projects and gain a comprehensive overview of the operational challenges faced by a global leader in the airport industry.

Missions:
Assess the impact of innovative experiments: Measure the operational performance and return on investment of new technologies, such as the use of smart cameras on aircraft stands or the deployment of efficient boarding solutions.
Define the operations of the future: Contribute to defining tomorrow's standards for VINCI Airports by working on concepts like the "boarding of the future" or passenger journey optimization.
Enhance data-driven management: Develop and optimize data visualization tools (dashboards) for key performance indicators (e.g., analysis of delay codes, check-in counter performance) to provide data for decision-making.
Conduct opportunity studies: Analyze the feasibility and relevance of launching new airport services by building the associated business case.
Perform strategic intelligence: Identify and analyze innovation projects and funding opportunities at the European or international level that could benefit our network.
·         Develop innovative analytical frameworks: Create and implement a systematic methodology to determine optimal check-in area layouts during airport sizing and capacity planning projects, directly influencing infrastructure design.
·         Benchmark operational contracts: Review key service contracts from across the network to build a centralized best-practice database, providing actionable insights and negotiation leverage for our Chief Operating Officers (COOs).
·         Support C-level decision-making: Prepare ad-hoc analyses and high-impact presentations on strategic operational topics for review and discussion by the VINCI Airports Executive Committee.

Profile:

You are from an engineering school, business school, or university (Master's degree), with a specialization in applied mathematics, statistics, or project management.
You have a strong interest in the intersection of operational and economic performance challenges.
Initial experience in data analysis, project management, or consulting is a plus.
Knowledge of the airport sector would be appreciated.

Desired skills:

-          Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with great attention to detail. Proficient with data analysis tools (Excel as main, Python would be a plus).

-          Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to draft clear reports and present your findings effectively (PowerPoint).

-          Languages: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in another language used in our network (e.g., Portuguese, Spanish, French) is an asset.

-          Personal Qualities: Autonomous, proactive, curious, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, international environment.
