Estimator I & II
ESTIMATOR is required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Contactor, to be located in Louisiana, US.
POSITION SCOPE
The Estimator is responsible for developing accurate and competitive proposals. Under the direction of the Estimating Manager, this role involves collaborating with Business Development and Operations to create cost-effective project estimates. The Estimator will leverage company software and client-provided data to analyze project requirements and vendor pricing. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently within established guidelines.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop accurate cost estimates by analyzing project requirements, labor, materials, and timeframes.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
Manage the bid process, including collecting and evaluating proposals to determine optimal pricing.
Prepare detailed cost analyses and financial reports to support decision-making.
Collaborate with project managers to provide cost estimates, track changes, and ensure project profitability.
Comply with company standards, procedures, and reporting requirements.
Utilize company software to manage project opportunities and track key metrics.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
College degree preferred.
High school diploma/GED required.
2+ years of industry experience preferred.
2+ years of estimating experience preferred.
Minimal travel may be required.
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
