Freyssinet Australia is seeking a high-performing Construction Manager to join our Civil team as part of the Freyssinet Subsidiary This is an excellent opportunity for candidates across the VINCI network looking to step into a broader leadership role within a specialist contractor delivering complex civil infrastructure works.
About the Role
Reporting to the National Civil Manager, this role offers the opportunity to lead and influence the delivery of a portfolio of concurrent projects valued between $5M – $30M.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and profitably, while providing technical expertise and leadership across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams across multiple projects
Drive performance across safety, programme, quality, and commercial outcomes
Manage and optimise labour resourcing across projects
Oversee planning to ensure projects are effectively set up and delivered on schedule
Contribute to monthly performance reporting and forecasting
Lead contract administration, risk, and opportunity management activities
Support procurement and subcontractor engagement strategies
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Ensure adherence to Freyssinet and VINCI systems, processes, and safety standards
Collaborate on Industrial Relations matters where required
About You
We are seeking candidates who are ready to take the next step into Construction Management, bringing both strong technical capability and leadership potential.
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, ideally including bridge construction or strengthening
Proven delivery experience on projects in the $5M – $30M range
Knowledge of complex construction methodologies (e.g. post-tensioning, precast, heavy lifting) is highly regarded
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams
Strong commercial, financial, and reporting capability
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
