MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
The service holder will be responsible to support the Project Control Manager (PCM), the Project Contract Lead and the Subsea Manager for all the contract and procurement activities for the SURF and SPS packages related to the project, as part of the project’s team.

This will include but not be limited to reviewing, preparing and managing all contractual relationships and matters during Pre-project and FEED, Call For Tender and EPCI phases for flowlines, risers, umbilical, and associated structures and equipment, and subsea production systems for a very deep-water oil greenfield project.

The Service Provider will be responsible for preparing the contractual (Agreement, Exhibits, ITT, communications with tenderers and Contractors) part of the SURF and SPS CFT package.
The Service Provider will provide support to the Project Control Manager, and Project Contract Lead, the Subsea Manager and the SURF team, and liaise with other project teams (FPSO).

ACTIVITIES
1. Adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy, promote and enforce the Anti-Corruption Program within the Project,
2. Demonstrate an exemplary behaviour about HSSE and to implement HSSE rules and requirements within his area of responsibility,
3. Develop the contracting strategies for the Project with the Subsea Manager and the Project Contract Lead
4. Manage the SURF and SPS contractual relationship with Tenderers / Contractors during pre-Project, FEED, Call For Tender preparation, Call For Tender review and tenders commercial and contractual clarifications, Contract finalization, Project preparation and Project execution. Ensure commercial and contractual correspondence with contractors is efficiently handled,
5. Ensure compliance with Company Rules and Project Contractual requirements during all Project phases,
6. Support the Subsea Manager for all pre-Project and FEED contractual and procurement activities,
7. Support the Subsea Manager for preparation and timely delivery of the SURF Call For Tender contractual package of the SURF EPCI, the SPS EPCI and the SPS Life of Field Contracts,
8. Coordinate and organize the preparation of tender processes and documents (ITT packages, bid evaluation criteria, RTA, etc.) in coordination with the Subsea Manager and the Project Contract Lead and in compliance with the standards and Project procedures but also with Project Shareholders requirements, Prepare and implement negotiation strategies with contractors and lead negotiations with the support of the Subsea Manager, the Project Contract Lead and the Project Contract Manager when necessary. Lead clarification and negotiation process.
9. Provide contractual, commercial, and administrative recommendations to the Subsea Manager, to the GEDI Manager and to the Project Control Manager,
10. Be responsible for review and compliance to Project and Company and Project requirements of SURF and SPS Tenderers Contractual offers. Lead the clarifications with Tenderers and ensure timely closing of Contractual qualifications. Coordinate Tender evaluation and preparation of RTA,
11. Act, as contractual point of contact vis-à-vis Contractor(s),
12. Ensure contractual compliance throughout the Project life of the engineered, procured, fabricated, tested and installed SURF and SPS equipment. Ensure Contractors’ compliance with contractual requirements in all areas. Anticipate and ensure adequate and timely reporting to the Subsea Manager of any concern, issue or potential deviation. Propose timely and adequate solutions and optimizations,
13. Provide internal reporting related to contract activities according to company rules,
14. Liaise with the Project Control Manager, the Project Contract Lead and other package teams (FPSO, etc) as necessary,
15. Assist and support the Subsea Manager on all aspects of the SURF and SPS related Call For Tender, Clarification & evaluation process, project execution and contracts management, and with the relations with Partners
16. Coordinate with other SURF and SPS team members for the follow-up of correspondence and contract activities throughout the full CFT process and during Project Execution. Provide awareness of Contracts requirements to the Project team and develop counter-claim strategy to protect Project interests,
17. Contribute to the Project reporting for the Contract and procurement matters,
18. Gather ‘lessons learnt’ and provide feedback to company’s0 entities as required.

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
The activity takes place in the context of the pre-Project, FEED, Call For Tender, and Project Execution Phase of a major Deep Water greenfield Project in Namibia. The project has a multidisciplinary team that coordinates the development studies managed by the company on the Deep Water discoveries offshore.

The technical challenges the project will face are the reservoirs development and management, the subsea production/injection system definition in a challenging environment.

The Project will be developed with the objectives to maximize economical results by optimizing the reserves, the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Qualification: Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, Master of Business Administration
• Languages: English
• Professional Experience: at least 15 years in contract management
• Experience within project: at least 10 years in large offshore oil & gas projects (execution phase) related to SURF and SPS contracts.
• Additional features: Effective communication with proven negotiation skills, ability to influence and work transversally to achieve outcomes whilst showing balanced and prudent decision-making capabilities. Excellent understanding of complex tasks, ability to work autonomously with great rigor and precision. Team player with ability to work collaboratively across complex project teams and interface between interdisciplinary departments and within an international team.
