MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
• Technical Lead Services is part of the project’s execution team.
• Three anticipated Closed Flare Retrofit Projects
• Each Closed Flare Retrofit Project is a brownfield project with Approx.: 400.000 overall man-hours, and 12 months of offshore SIMOPS work.
• One of the project Closed Flare Retrofit will be TEPA affiliate first flare retrofit project and will act as a reference for future similar projects.
• Coordination with Transverse teams. Strong coordination with Topside Engineering Leader responsible for all technical engineering topics.
• Project duration (years): 2 with potential extension.

ACTIVITIES
1. To promote safety culture within the project and within her/his activities. Lead by exemplarity to have the team members and colleagues adhering and contributing. To adopt & demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regards to HSEQ rules and requirements. To participate and to promote Safety and Quality culture program (FOCUS). To ensure safe workplaces.
2. To ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the activities that she/he is managing or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on his/her activities.
3. To ensure that state of the art, TEPA referential and local rules/laws are complied with and captured in all contractual requirements.
4. To work by anticipation. To assess and to identify risks for the projects’ activities and manage associated mitigation actions at his/her level.
6.With the spirit of the company values, to establish and manage her/his activities motivating her/his counterparts and to work diligently to meet the targets of the Projects.
7. To promote digitalization and innovation as far as compatible with good enough approach for all activities. To seek optimization and savings all along the different phases of the project. To focus on costs without impairing QHSE objectives.
8. To promote cost culture among the teams and LEAN approach and visual management.
9. To lead the technical interface aspects of the Closed flares retrofit projects through the different phases acting in liaison with Topside Engineering leader (from the transverse Topside Department).
10. Before contract award to lead/prepare with the Contract engineer and Topside Engineering Leader/ discipline leaders: Contract documentation, call for tenders’ technical workshops, preparation of recommendation to award and validation committees.
11. Closed Flare projects in execution phase to establish with Topside Engineering Leader and Transverse Teams project specifications and technical direction, overseeing technical interface topics and modifications, guiding team members with troubleshooting on technical issues. Analyzing existing operations to identify risks and opportunities.
12. Supervision contractors and subcontractors involved in the Closed flare retrofit projects and ensure all technical interfaces between various packages are incorporated in the final design and installation packages.
13. To ensure a proper coordination between the Closed flare retrofit package team and the other projects’, TEPA. To ensure good collaboration within different transverse entities.
14. To identify potential deviations / non-conformances / concessions and propose adapted corrective actions.
15. To emit throughout the project in liaison with the Closed Flare Package Leader all necessary deliverables related to the management of the Closed flare retrofit package, including CPY technical documents, reports, presentations, letters, close out / feedback reports, final documentation.
16. To support, monitor and ensure proper follow-up of any internal or external audits and technical review related to the Closed flares retrofit projects.
17. To support to all necessary workshops with Partners and Concessionaire with regards to technical subjects.
18. To ensure a good coordination with Contractor’s teams and a real cooperation between Contractor and Company teams to work as a single team. To resolve proactively any dispute.
19. To monitor the activities delegated to other TEPA entities.
20. To deputize Closed Flares package Leader / Topside Engineering Leader for closed Flares Projects when required.
21. To assist the projects’ Closed Flares Package Leader in developing the project execution plan, the project organization and the required means to ensure smooth project development and technical coordination.
22. To support with the project risks and opportunities reviews with the delegated risk coordinators.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Confirmed Engineer, or equivalent, with preferably 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects in Project Management or Operations.
• Strong team spirit, field proven coordination and communication skills and recognized capability to work in a transverse mode.
• Problem solving mindset and solution driven attitude.
• Languages: English mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills, dynamism, high motivation, “out-of-the-box” thinking.
• Formal Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
Accountabilities
• To support Closed Flare Package Leader with the coordination of Closed Flares technical interfaces in conformity with the Statement of Requirements, Basis of Design, and the HSEQ governing rules and the other applicable rules and specifications.
• Before contract award for projects’ Closed Flares, support with the call for tenders workshops, evaluation and validation meetings for sanction.
• After contract award, to coordinate technical topics of the projects’ Closed Flare Retrofit Projects within the agreed within the agreed schedule for completion, and within the pre-defined level of quality.
• Demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regards to H3SE rules & requirements and implement H3SE rules within her/his area of responsibility. Avoid complacency in terms of H3SE.
• Work efficiently with TEPA and projects’ transverse entities (HSE, QA/QC, Topside technical team, interface, project control, Production, logistic). Work in transverse mode and promote it by exemplarity.
• Promote and deploy with all parties involved the work together mindset and concrete actions.
• Participate to the development of Project Management main documents (PEP, Return of Experience, Risk, Opportunities etc.)
