Senior Environmental Advisor

As Senior Environmental and Sustainability Advisor, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the environmental outcomes of this landmark project. You’ll lead the implementation of environmental management plans, monitor compliance with legislation and approvals, and champion sustainability initiatives that protect the environment while supporting Western Sydney’s growth. Your expertise will help ensure this project sets new benchmarks for environmental stewardship and community engagement.
About the role:
- Develop and implement the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP)
- Monitor compliance with environmental approvals, permits, and legislation
- Conduct audits, inspections, and sustainability data reporting
- Deliver environmental training, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Engage with stakeholders and manage community relations effectively
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction environmental management
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and Australian Standards
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage environmental teams
- Completed training in Blue Books 1 & 2D and Erosion & Sedimentation Control
