Human Resources Coordinator
7/7/2026Join Seymour Whyte for the Beerburrum to Nambour (B2N) Upgrade Project, a major civil infrastructure project being delivered as a joint venture with John Holland and focused on enhancing the rail transport network between Beerburrum and Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. Once completed, B2N will improve the North Coast Line, making travel faster and better connecting the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Brisbane.
We’re currently seeking a HR Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, two-year fixed-term basis. This site-based role is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic project environment, where you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day people needs of the team.
Working closely with the Project People Manager, the broader project team, and our wider HR network, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of HR activities. This includes supporting recruitment and onboarding, coordinating training, assisting with employee relations matters, contributing to engagement initiatives and helping with performance processes and reporting.
You’ll be a trusted support point for the team, ensuring HR processes are well organised, practical and responsive to the needs of the site. Your ability to build relationships and provide timely support will help create a positive and well-functioning team environment.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in HR, ideally within the construction industry
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources (or a related discipline), or willingness to work towards these qualifications is highly regarded
- Experience using HR information systems and maintaining accurate employee data
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
