MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
Material Supervisor follows material orders and guarantees traceability endtoend (inbound → storage → outbound → installafion → rig returns.) so that orders are tracked, inventory is correctly known – physically and in SAP, goods movements are followed, and relevant material documentation are available for rig operations.
The role shall

  1. Interfaces with all contractors, stock controller, cost controller and logistics team.
  2. Control the availability and planning of company owned stock materials
  3. Work as a pair with second material supervisor and Lead QAQC Engineer.
  4. Support TADMs in the office.
  5. Cross-coordinate across all drilling & wells contractors.

Attributes of the role

  • Point of Contact (PoC) for materials.
  • Control drilling & wells inventory, stock movements, and records.
  • Use SAP for material records and follow up of purchase order / contract details.
  • Proficient in the use of SAP Material Module (MM) for transactions and reporting.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications – particularly Microsoft Excel.

The service holder reports within the Performance & Methods team on GranMorgu development (Drilling and Wells package).
ACTIVITIES
HSE

  • Apply HSEQ OneMaestro Principles, 12 New Golden Rules, Company referential, International Standards, Code of Conduct, policies & procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply requirements in company referential like CR-OT-DW-351, GM-OT-DW-341, GM OT DW 342, APIQ1/Q2, ISO 9001 and DS-1 standards.
  • To control materials receipt, preservation & storage, consumption, and tracking for drilling and wells equipment at the contractor’s bases.
  • Create a Material Master Register in Microsoft Excel per well for all D&W owned goods.
  • Based on rig schedule, allocate materials in the Excel-based Material Master spreadsheet and make all reservations in SAP.
  • Perform regular and frequent inventory checks in collaboration with the QAQC Site Representatives, Logistics and C&P teams.
  • Work with the Lead QAQC Engineer to perform Material Requirements Planning (MRP) with service contractors and identify material excesses, shortages and plan for future needs
  • Support drilling and wells TADMs by following up with purchase requisitions, outline agreements, purchase order, contract value consumption, and processing of proformas.
  • Support the Technical Administrator (TADM) and Contracts & Procurement (C&P) with their stock duet and procurement responsibilities.
  • Ensure that goods movement is traceable from endtoend in SAP i.e. inbound → storage → outbound → installafion → rig returns.
  • Ensure that all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available in IQ-ALL for chemicals.
  • Make relevant license requests (HS codes) for radioactive goods going to offshore rigs.
  • Establish relevant KPIs for materials, which are reported regularly and frequently for all service contractors.
  • Publish Return of Experience (RE)X for material initiatives and decisions.
  • Contribute to each contractor’s Service Quality Meetings (SQM) evaluation from a materials and stock perspective.

Main KPIs per onshore base:

  • Proficient in the use of SAP Material Module (MM) for transactions and reporting.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications particularly MS Excel.
  • Coordinate regular meetings with contractor and company.

CONTEXT & ENVIRONNENT
Project: Fast Track Green Field deepwater project (32 wells, 2 deepwater rigs, 3 years drilling). 'Activity takes place in the context of the POST-FID phase of the first major development (GranMorgu) in Suriname. This is a new Oil and Gas (O&G) province for the company and the industry.
Position: Multicultural environment with contractors relocating in Suriname. Interface for establishing and overseeing methods requirements.
The appraisal campaign has been concluded, and the project's First Oil is scheduled for Q4 2027.
Drilling & Well Operations will begin Q4 2026.
The role will join GranMorgu D&W Team from Q1 2026 in Paramaribo (resident).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Professional Experience (years): +15 years in upstream Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience in similar position (years): ±6 to 10 years in similar position
  • Level / Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent and an SAP certification is desirable.
  • Specialization: Logistics coordination for goods and proficient use of SAP MM module (proven field experience)
