MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
The service will support TEP Suriname’s Drilling and Wells preparation and execution of GranMorgu development. The Service holder will begin in Suriname in February 2026 as a rotational role.
Core activities will include:

  • Managing / coordinating the inspection activities at the base as per operational planning.
  • Coordinating with all parties on Stock Transfer Movement to ensure material status is correct.
  • Participate as part of the QMS and SQP audit team across all onshore CONTRACTOR bases.
  • Equipment readiness prior to loadout to the RIGs.

The role will

  • Be COMPANY representative at the CONTRACTOR’s onshore base with authority to engage with their management.
  • Receive instructions from the Performance & Methods manager to perform inspection and audit responsibilities.

Work closely with the Material Supervisor and Stock Controllers to provide accurate feedback on the quantities, quality and status of stock / materials across drilling and completions entities

ACTIVITIES
HSE & Sustainability

  • Full implementation of company OneMaestro Principles, 12 Golden Rules, Company referential, Code of Conduct, policies & procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong HSSE Leadership by setting high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate statutory, international and COMPANY referential, and standards to the CONTRACTOR organization.
  • Ensure that purchasing equipment complies with CR-OT-DW-350 – all POs and SOs must matching with QAQC MS requirements.
  • Define a clear workflow for SPS, drilling and completions equipment handovers.
  • Contribute towards Material Requirement Planning (MRP) of D&W stock items.
  • Seamless coordination and effective feedback on QAQC related activities in collaboration with the superintendent (covering drilling, completion, intervention), and TEPSr logistics & C&P teams.
  • Visible leadership in quality management to promote a good QAQC culture with each service providers.
  • Supervise contractors to encourage adherence to APIQ2 requirements.
  • Implement and follow the use of Service Quality Plans (SQP) as per the API Q2 in D&W all contracts.
  • Contribute to the service criticality assessment and feedback to management.
  • Drive continuous improvement of CONTRACTOR’s SERVICES by auditing against Service Quality Plans (SQP) and their respective CONTRACTS.
  • Support Performance & Methods team, RSES, and rig superintendent to perform the audit of Rig Management System including PMS.
  • Recommend updates to contractor’s workshop practices and follow up on actions.
  • Perform risk assessment to ensure that repair works and costs are correctly evaluated in comparison to purchasing new stock materials.
  • Perform technical inspections during goods movement over the period of custody at COMPANY or CONTRACTOR bases.
  • Propose good practices for storage, preservation, and inspection of D&W equipment, and when applicable, work with the contractor to develop useable practices and procedures.
  • Set and coordinate service Inspection at contractor locations based on SQPs that will be witnessed/agreed with the contractor’s witness.
  • Before equipment RIG mobilization: Set a release process under D&W QAQC to confirm that equipment is ready to be used (Final Released Note) from stock or from Service Contractors sites. Also include waiver system under the Drilling Manager’s (DM) scope of authorization.
  • Implement / follow / update the inspection reporting system (IQ-ALL) with material, inspections reports/release notes, and any relevant technical or proprietary information.
  • Primary point of contact for IQ-ALL at the onshore bases.
  • Record and rate NPTs in IQ-ALL and convert into GRALs for DWIP requirements.
  • Use the action tracking database (IQ-ALL) – NPT tracker (IQ-NPT) and GRALs module to follow up / close actions (NPT related Incidents, Field NCR, OFI…) and report monthly.
  • Provide support and expertise for service/equipment failure investigation (Troubleshooting, Cause Tree Analysis, etc.)
  • Actively participate in SQM performance reviews and use IQ-ALL to record Service Quality Meetings (SQM) Scorecards for all contracts.
  • Review equipment concessions, derogations, and track progress of audit planning and progress on corrective actions.
  • Ensure that all equipment has valid certifications, records and preparation.

Main KPIs per onshore base:

  • Maintenance throughput per month.
  • Quantity of equipment breakdown or repair per month.
  • Quantity of maintenance backlog per month.
  • Quantity of TPI inspections per month.
  • Quantity of services non-conformity per month.
  • Quantity and timeliness of Ready for Loadout (RFLO) per month.
  • Quantity of QAQC visits.
  • 4 API Q2 audits per annum.
  • One (1) Major SQM in Q4 of Year N, and three (3) follow up SQM sessions per annum – update SQM scorecards and actions trackers accordingly and report to management.
  • % Open & closed actions (of global actions i.e. NPT, anomalies, improvements) per month.

CONTEXT & ENVIRONNENT
Project: Fast Track Green Field deepwater project (32 wells, 2 deepwater rigs, 3 years drilling). 'Activity takes place in the context of the POST-FID phase of the first major development (GranMorgu) in Suriname. This is a new Oil and Gas (O&G) province for the company and the industry.
Position: Multicultural environment with contractors setting up for the first time in Suriname.
The appraisal campaign has been concluded, and the project's First Oil is scheduled for Q4 2027.
Drilling & Well Operations will begin Q4 2026.
The role will join GranMorgu D&W Team from Q1 2026 in Paramaribo (resident).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
At least 15 years’ working experience in Oil and Gas:
Technical:

  • With at least 10 years of QAQC experience in drilling activities (SPS, OCTG, equipment procurement, SQP / QMS audit, etc).
  • Adequate knowledge of general drilling and completions, including welltesting and interventions equipment.
  • Good knowledge of rig operations.
  • Lead Auditor certification in ISO9001/APIQ1
  • Practitioner certification for APIQ2.
  • Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Other relevant certifications may be requested by COMPANY.
