JOB DESCRIPTION:
SIXENSE is seeking to appoint its new Business Unit General Manager reporting to the Director of SIXENSE International Operations.
Following a period of sustained growth over the last years supported by ongoing major construction projects, SIXENSE sees activity building within the historical monitoring core business as well as diversification in terms of digital services. Your role will be to facilitate continued development of the company, supported by a sustainable and recurrent business.
You will be responsible for the management of the company in line with the Group strategy
- Management:
o Provide company-wide leadership to maximize the potential of the company and individuals and cultivate a positive company culture
o Promote the development of key performance goals to monitor the performance of the business
o Report back to a strategy and communicate the results to the teams.
o Take accountability and responsibility for all operational aspects of the business including health, safety, quality systems and environmental matters
o Address issues raised by the board and ensure the company follows the Group procedures
o Review tenders identified as “sensitive” based on Group procedures
o Provide direct management to senior managers in the business unit
o Promote policies and processes
- Business:
o Provide direction in the creation and implementation of strategies designed to grow the business
o Maintain existing key client relationships and new ones in line with the strategy
o Develop new markets, new clients and new areas
o Prepare and manage company budgets and maintain overall responsibility for successful budgeting
o Submit monthly financial/company results reports to the SIXENSE Group management.
o Representative of the Group for key clients, suppliers, partners for business development
REQUIRED SKILLS:
We are seeking proven experiences in high-level management (P&L, teams, contracts, clients, safety, …). You will have a strong awareness of the civil engineering world with a digital appetite.
You are able to:
- Work in a networking environment with several stakeholders
- Lead business successes and lead the growth of the business units
- Represent the Company through interviews and conferences
- Analyze and solve problems
- Negotiate contracts
