Operation Manager M/F
09/04/2026Responsible for the overall operations of USA and Canada of CARPI waterproofing activities, including repair and new construction projects of large hydraulic structures (Dams, Canal, Reservoirs…).
Management Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and directing operational staff to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Training and mentoring employees in areas of project management and project delivery.
- Supervising the efforts of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen and field labor. Manage a team of field employees from 5 up to 30. Must be hands-on mentor and coach, as well as team oriented and solution oriented, approachable, and a good listener.
- Facilitating annual review process for all direct reports.
- Must have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate and hold team members accountable. Must be proactive, professional with positive attitude, solution provider, diligent, detail oriented and able to
- prioritize or multi-task.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safety is a priority for the company. Must be extremely safety conscious, setting an example for others by demonstrating that Safety is held in the highest regard. Wears safety equipment (hard hat with chin straps, eye protection, ear protection, respiratory protection, etc…) when required by the safety specifications or jobsite conditions.
- Working with CARPI support departments to ensure that company policies and processes are respected
- Worrking with clients to negotiate contractual issues within the limits of authority set by upper management.
- Assessing the need for personnel and working with Human Resources on recruiting.
- Coordinating and optimizing the labor program to ensure that projects are complete within estimate and pre-construction budgets.
- Managing the operations of projects to ensure timely and on-budget completion.
- Assisting in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the company’s relationship with contractors in a bid to produce strategic partnership.
- Engaging in Safety commitments provided by corporate office and ensuring that every project is incident-free.
Financial Responsabilities:
Financial responsibilities include maintaining project budgets, approve spending within the limits of authority set by upper management and ensure profitability of the assigned projects.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management and/or equivalent work
- Experience Minimum of 10 years related experience.
- Willing to travel and report to Corporate Office as needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, and agree to an MVR check in order to operate business vehicles.
- Shall possess knowledge in civil construction works, in particular geotechnical or earthworks or concrete works. Experience in dam/canal construction is a plus.

- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Bilingual skills a plus.
