We are looking for a Data Engineer (F/M), who will join the dynamic innovation team and help us in transformation and optimization of Eurovia Polska. The office is located in Silesia Region, which is located 1 hour away from Kraków (in Mysłowice).

With multiple ongoing projects, with Power Road® project in the lead, Eurovia transforms itself and create new environment for society. Changes serve the natural environment and are focused on energy consumption limitation and optimization of processes. Power Road® technology has devised a new function for roads, namely, the production of heat energy. This development allows roads to capture the sun’s heat energy, which can be stored and distributed to nearby buildings and infrastructure through a heat-pump system. With Power Road®, the road, without deviating from its primary use, can play a new role in the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The Innovation team in Poland helps shape the culture and processes required for innovation to succeed in every organization, as well as train others on how to get better at it. We are very used to overseeing a portfolio of innovation initiatives, such as Power Road®.

As soon as you start working with us, you will be dedicated to analyze data and implement solutions based on the analyses. You can make your work matters.

What can you expect as an I&D Data Engineer @Eurovia Polska ? 

As part of the Innovation team, your main missions will be as such :

• Understand the needs of the operational staff of the different projects, and define the functionalities that will facilitate their day-to-day work
• Identify, collect and visualize the data required (internal or external) to feed the necessary models
• Evaluate, sort, correct and classify the data
• Select the most appropriate AI model/algorithm and define the architecture in collaboration with experts
• Develop, test and train the AI model
• Compiling reports for different parts of the project
• Participate in project deployment

After completing the V.I.E, you will have the skills to coordinate the implementation of the Group's innovative products!

You’ll be a great fit if: 

• You’re looking for assignments that give you a sense of responsibility and high autonomy. 
• You are an engineering school or university graduate, with a degree in Construction, Engineering, Material Engineering or Data Science
• You can rely on basic knowledge in data science, thanks to a first professional experience (internship and apprenticeship included)
• You are eager to learn more and more about new technologies and innovations, always on the lookout for the newest innovations and discoveries.
• You can define yourself through a methodical and analytical mind, and strong interpersonal skills such as open-mindedness, curiosity, and most of all, a can-do attitude !
• You’re looking forward to being part of a team where you’ll be keen to learn and face new challenges together.
• You show an international mindset which will allow you to enjoy what Poland can offer to the fullest; 
• You speak fluent English. Knowledge of the Polish language is welcomed, but not required, to allow you to discuss with our locals and become a real polish connoisseur :)                            
• You have your driving license. 

Quick Reminder about the VIE program: 

The VIE program requires you to: 

• Be a European citizen aged between 18 and 28 on the date of registration, whatever training level;  
• Be a graduate student, with a fluent level in English;  
• Have never done any V.I.E. in the past ;  
• Not have worked previously in the host country.
