Camp Operations & Facilities Manager F/H
05/10/2026To support the successful delivery of a major international project in a challenging environment, we are looking for an experienced Camp Operations & Facilities Manager (M/F).
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall operation, maintenance and administration of the Project camp facilities. Ensure that accommodation, catering, housekeeping, maintenance, utilities and welfare services are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with contractual obligations and Company standards.
This position will be based abroad in a demanding and remote environment, with logistics challenges.
Reporting to the Project Direction, your main responsibilities will include:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the project camp, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery.
- Oversee camp service providers (catering, housekeeping, laundry, waste management, and recreation) and monitor performance against KPIs.
- Coordinate accommodation planning, workforce logistics, arrivals, departures, and camp inductions.
- Ensure adequate camp capacity, utilities, maintenance, and critical services to support project operations.
- Control operating budgets, inventories, and consumables, driving cost efficiency and operational performance.
- Maintain compliance with client requirements, regulations, and camp operating standards.
- Lead the camp operations team, fostering a culture of service excellence, workforce wellbeing, and resident satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, reporting, and emergency preparedness across all camp activities.
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years' experience managing camps, remote workforce accommodation facilities, mining camps or industrial site services.
Demonstrated experience in remote operating environments.
Experience managing multiple service contracts and outsourced providers.
Strong knowledge of camp operations, facilities management and accommodation services.
Experience managing camp operating budgets and performance reporting.
Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Customer-service mindset with a focus on workforce wellbeing.
Experience working within international and multicultural environments.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to work effectively in remote and challenging environments.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Strong intercultural awareness and ability to work within multinational teams.
