We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Corporate People & Culture team based at our Eight Mile Plains office. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to broaden their exposure to strategic HR programs while continuing to provide high-quality operational support.

About the Role

Reporting to the National HR Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting leaders and employees across the business, providing trusted HR advice and delivering practical people solutions that enhance employee experience and engagement. No two days are the same, with opportunities to support the employee lifecycle, and contribute to strategic initiatives including gender equity, wellbeing, capability development and people systems evolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide employees and leaders through the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to departure
• Provide advice on employment legislation, industrial relations matters, policies and workplace practices
• Manage a broad range of employee relations matters
• Support the ongoing evolution of our HR systems
• Contribute to strategic HR programs, including our Gender Equity Strategy and Health & Wellbeing Strategy
• Assist with capability and development initiatives that support business performance

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline preferred
• Approximately 5+ years' experience in a relevant HR generalist position
• Experience working in civil engineering, construction or heavy industry preferred
• Demonstrated experience supporting managers across the full employee lifecycle
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, including the National Employment Standards (NES)
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across a diverse workforce
• Experience supporting recruitment, workforce planning, and broader people initiatives
• Experience working with HR systems such as PageUp, UKG (Workforce Ready HR), Culture Amp, or similar platforms
• Confident across Microsoft Office suite
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience supporting organisational change initiatives will be highly regarded
• A current driver's licence
