Role Purpose
The Recruitment Assistant will provide operational and administrative support across the recruitment lifecycle, working closely with the Recruitment Business Partner to deliver timely, compliant, and high-quality hiring outcomes across Actemium Automation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Recruitment Business Partner with end-to-end recruitment activity
Coordinate job advertising, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
Act as a key point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive recruitment experience
Maintain accurate recruitment records and data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Support pre-employment checks and onboarding coordination
Liaise with hiring managers and recruitment agencies as required
Support recruitment reporting, metrics, and process improvements
Ensure recruitment processes align with company policy and UK employment legislation
Ad hoc duties as required
Person Specification
Essential
Experience in a recruitment, HR, or administrative support role
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office and HR/recruitment systems
Professional handling of confidential information
Desirable
Experience in engineering or technical recruitment
Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment compliance
