Instrumentation Engineer – Maintenance
INSTRUMENT ENGINEER is required by our Client, to be assigned on a contract basis, located in Bangalore, India
STARTING DATE: ASAP
DURATION: One year (with possible extension)
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 15 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance within the oil and gas (onshore/offshore) or refinery or petrochemical chemical Industry.
- Experience in planning and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, Turnarounds, and shutdowns
- Extensive experience working with field instruments in hazardous environments (e.g., ATEX/IECEx compliance).
- Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting:
- Flow meters, pressure transmitters, and temperature sensors.
- Level sensors, control valves, and actuators.
- Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for:
- Maintenance planning, scheduling, and tracking.
- Creating and maintaining equipment histories and calibration schedules.
- Generating reports and analyzing maintenance data.
- In-depth experience with calibrating and testing field instrumentation to ensure operational accuracy
- Familiarity with using calibration tools and software.
- Familiarity with reviewing instrumentation engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
- Expertise in implementing safety practices and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations.
- Experience with risk assessments and audits for instrumentation systems.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred
